So this month’s edition of “My Last 10 Dollars” is again another trade paperback. After reading this one all I could think of were the things we miss the first time. For some reason or another I was completely unaware of “Mesmo Delivery” and its prolific artist, Rafael Grampa until just recently.

Happy February everyone! So we have made it through a whole month and we are steady on track. I think this calls for celebration. In fact, let’s call it our “Hey Look the Site is Still Up” celebration!!

As my friends are aware, I’ve been randomly rambling about the Apple tablet and what awesome implications it could have. I pretty much follow Pak’s line of thinking on all of it save one forgotten point. What will this mean for artists? For those who have been following the tech blogs, we know that Apple has billed Wednesday’s press event as their “latest creation”. The graphic features paint splotches behind the apple logo. Now I’m not a betting man, but if I were, my money would be on the tablet’s presence in the digital art community.

Wow. Where to begin? I admittedly have a strange love affair with novels. At times, I’ve been known to submerge myself deep within the pages of stories that gripped my mind with unyielding tenacity. Then there are times where I don’t want to look at anything that even resembles a novel. Put simply, I like to read… but sometimes I don’t. Just how it is. Either way, whenever I do find myself fully enamored with a book I have a tendency to let my mind race with the possibilities of “what will happen next?”, or “I bet the main character’s really a (insert something awesome in that world)”. I think that with The Unwritten, it’s those feelings that kept bringing me back for more chapter after chapter.

We are officially opening a new article series titled “My Last 10 Dollars”. Conceived by my good friend Nick, the idea is that if  we walked into a comic shop with only $10 to our name, what would we buy? After the read we let you know if it was worth it or not!
