Bio
I am an illustrator, graphic designer, and writer. When not drawing, I try to learn from others to increase my knowledge and skill. I have a love for cinema, and strong storytelling as well as music. My intent is to increase my knowledge and skill in art. If possible, I would like to take the knowledge I’ve gained, and spread that to other artist out there.
Workflow
I usually start with the good ol' pencil and paper. I use a 2mm 4H lead in a Faber Castell TK 9400 lead holder. For a while I used non-photo blue with the HB for defining. I have a habit of pressing too hard and the 4H is lighter so I can erase easier. After pencil work, I move on to inking. For digital inking I use Illustrator, and for analog I use the Faber Castell Pitt pens. I sometimes alternate between those and some Microns I have laying around. If the work is straight to pen, it is most likely done with a ballpoint that I use to do sketching and gestures. For coloring, I use Photoshop. The software allows me to incorporate some of my graphic design knowledge into the final composition.
