Ronin.Samurai.Jack.Style

I did this as a shirt design (for the back) as a sort of homage to Samurai Jack. I loved that show. Don’t know of anyone who didn’t really. I went with the “no-line” style of the show with just solid color against color and textures.

I kept it simple in the hopes that it would translate well into a shirt with no problems. This should show the progression of the design, from the initial (crappy) sketch to the completed piece. There were other little pieces of items but those were mostly background effects etc.

One thing I thought really came out well was the arm that’s in front. I was worried that the white would not translate well as an actual arm, but it seemed to work out well.
