    On Deviant Art, there is a wonderful photographer by the name of Brigham.

    His work is shall we say, very provocative. Anyway, I noticed one of his photos “Pretty in Pink”, and decided to use it as inspiration for a pic of my own.

    Really, this started out as a practice piece, but I liked the pose so much I decided to keep going. Next thing I know, I’ve got a fully colored pic.

    I changed the gloves to sparring gear to add some toughness to the character, but kept them pink as sort of a nod to the original piece. Also, note the Pink Converse.

    This picture went through a few revisions, mostly on the face before I got it right.

    2. I <3 the converse. Also, the piece all together. That warning was right about the souce image. The sparring gloves are an awesome addition to it. Keep up the good work.

      I’ll try coloring more stuff in the future.
